Port Forwarding

Port forwarding is a complex set of procedures performed after the cargo arrives at the port.

It includes:

  • obtaining container documents from the shipping lines
  • veterinary and invasive species control
  • customs examination
  • receipt of the cargo and its delivery from the port.

The cargo handling is performed by the port, while the forwarding agent can accelerate the procedures to save delivery time and minimize the costs of the cargo storage at the port.

Eurologistics transport company has been working in container sea shipping since it was founded in 2002. In 2012 we added port forwarding service at the port of St.Petersburg and customs transit from the Baltic Customs house (internal customs transit). This significantly improved the quality of our customer service and reorganized the process of cargo pickup and delivery.
